We-Invest: Women empowerment and investment

Published by We-Invest Institute

We-Invest had the opportunity to share its goals with government officials, financial organizations, and other agents of progress. Imaan a member or WE-Invest board has delivered a message of gratitude, vision, and purpose on behalf of the women we serve across the country.

We began by extending our sincere thanks to the President for officially inaugurating our institution earlier this month and to the Ministry of Commerce for organizing this vital platform for dialogue and development.

“We-Invest is more than just a financial institution—it is a movement led by women, for women,” Iman said. “We are committed to supporting women engaged in small-scale trade—from urban centers to rural villages.”

Our initiative focuses on empowering mothers and women entrepreneurs who drive our informal economy through selling vegetables, meat, milk, street food, and other small commercial goods. Despite limited access to resources, these women sustain households and communities with resilience and hard work.

We-Invest provides financial tools, mentorship, and training programs designed to help women build sustainable businesses and navigate economic challenges. We believe that when women thrive, families and nations thrive.

“Women are the backbone of our national economy,” Iman emphasized. “We aim not only to support their businesses but to equip them with the knowledge to withstand loss and seize new opportunities.”

We are also calling on government agencies and major financial institutions present at the conference to collaborate with us. Together, we can scale this work and ensure that no woman entrepreneur is left behind.

In closing, we extend heartfelt thanks to the Ministry of Commerce for hosting this conference and for recognizing the power of women-led development.
