Eid Clothing Distribution to 120 Vulnerable Households in Hargeisa

This Eid, 120 vulnerable households in Hargeisa received brand-new clothes, enabling children and their families to celebrate with dignity, pride, and happiness. The distribution effort was designed to reach the most underserved, with a special focus on low-income families and women-headed households. The distribution was carried out through a collaborative effort between WE-Invest Microfinance and World Vision teams.

Community Impact and Gratitude

The distribution brought visible joy to families, with children excited to receive new clothes and parents expressing deep appreciation. For many, this simple gesture represented much more than material support—it was a message that they are seen, valued, and supported by their community.

Feedback from beneficiaries highlighted not only the practical impact of the clothing distribution but also the emotional value of being able to celebrate Eid with dignity.

Empowerment Beyond Finance

While We-Invest is known for empowering women through microfinance and entrepreneurship, we understand that real impact also comes from responding to social and emotional needs. Eid is more than a holiday—it’s a moment of unity, celebration, and dignity. By supporting families during such an important time, we aim to foster not only economic resilience but also social inclusion.

Looking Ahead

We-Invest Microfinance remains deeply committed to scaling its impact across Somaliland through programs that blend financial empowerment with community well-being. Whether through micro-loans or acts of kindness like this Eid distribution, we believe in lifting up communities in every way possible.

Thank you to everyone who supported this initiative. Your continued belief in our mission fuels our work and strengthens our reach.
